# Referrals

Share Starlight and earn 3,000 credits per paying referral.

Share Starlight and earn credits. Find your personal referral link under **Settings → Referrals** — when someone signs up with it and starts a paying account, you both earn **3,000 credits**.

## How It Works

1. Copy your referral link from **Settings → Referrals**

2. Share it with a friend or colleague — the link takes them straight to sign-up

3. They create an account and finish onboarding

4. When they start a paid subscription, 3,000 credits land in your credit balance — and 3,000 in theirs

## Tracking Your Referrals

The Referrals page shows every person who joined with your link and where they are:

- **Signed up** — they created an account with your link
- **Activated** — they finished setting up their account
- **Rewarded** — they became a paying customer and the credits were paid out

## Where the Credits Go

Referral credits are added on top of your plan's monthly allowance and show up in your credit meter right away. Unlike your monthly allowance, they don't reset — they stay until you spend them. Each reward also appears in your **Settings → Credits** history as a Referral reward.

> Referral rewards are per referred person, credited to your company's shared pool. You can refer as many people as you like — there's no cap on how much you can earn.
