Connect Gmail to send outreach and track replies.
Connect the Gmail account your outreach should come from. Starlight sends from it in your name and reads the replies to those messages.
Setup
1. Go to Connectors
Click Connectors in the sidebar
2. Click Connect Gmail
Under the Email section, click Connect next to Gmail
3. Authorize with Google
Sign in to your Google account and grant Starlight permission to send and read emails on your behalf
4. Configure sender name
Optionally customize the sender name that appears on outgoing emails
Permissions
Starlight requests the following Gmail permissions:
- Send emails: to deliver your outreach messages
- Read emails: to track replies to those messages
- Manage labels: to organize sent and received messages

Rate Limits
To protect your email reputation and stay within Gmail's sending limits, Starlight enforces a conservative daily send limit per connected account and warms new accounts up gradually.
Gmail's own limits are typically 500 emails/day for personal accounts and 2,000/day for Google Workspace accounts.
More than one mailbox
You can connect several Gmail or Outlook mailboxes, for example two addresses on the same domain. Each one keeps its own daily send limit and warm-up, and new message batches go out from whichever mailbox has the most room that day. Every conversation stays on the mailbox it started from, and replies are answered from the mailbox they arrived in.
Deliverability shows sends, replies, and out-of-office responses per mailbox for the last 30 days, so you can see whether a new address is landing before you lean on it.
Disconnecting
To disconnect Gmail, go to Connectors and click Disconnect next to your Gmail account. This revokes Starlight's access to your Gmail. Outreach from that mailbox pauses until you reconnect.
